Is AWS or Hetzner Cloud cheaper for egress?

For internet egress from North America on 3 servers at list rates, at 1 TB a month Hetzner Cloud costs $0.00 against $83.16; at 10 TB a month Hetzner Cloud costs $7.96 against $913; and at 100 TB a month Hetzner Cloud costs $110 against $7,978. Zone, NAT and CDN charges can change the answer, so enter your own traffic.

Why is Hetzner bandwidth so much cheaper than AWS?

Hetzner bundles traffic with each server: 20 TB a month per small cloud server in Germany and Finland, and €1 per TB beyond it, about $0.0011 per GB. AWS charges $0.09 per GB from the first 100 GB. The catch is location: Hetzner's US servers include only 1 TB, it has no South American region, and it offers no managed CDN or NAT.
