Maths Calculators
Everyday arithmetic with the working shown. The percentage calculator handles all three shapes of percentage question: a share of a number, what share one number is of another, and the change between two values. The fraction calculator adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides fractions and reduces the answer to lowest terms; the ratio calculator simplifies ratios and solves proportions; the average calculator gives the mean, median, mode, range and standard deviation; and the square root calculator handles cube and higher roots in simplest radical form. A scientific calculator covers trigonometry, logarithms, powers and factorials.

Questions about maths calculators
How do I work out a percentage increase?
Subtract the old value from the new one, divide by the old value and multiply by 100. Going from 80 to 100 is (100 − 80) ÷ 80 × 100 = 25%. The percentage calculator does this and the reverse.
