Health & Fitness Calculators

These calculators turn a few measurements into the numbers a doctor or dietitian would start from. BMI and ideal weight show where you sit against both the WHO and the Asian cut-offs used in India. BMR and the calorie calculator estimate what you burn at rest and in a day with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, and the body fat calculator uses the US Navy tape-measure method. There are also pregnancy and IVF due-date calculators, an eGFR calculator using the race-free CKD-EPI 2021 equation, and a GLP-1 dosage calculator that turns a semaglutide or tirzepatide dose in mg into units on an insulin syringe. Each result is a screening estimate or a conversion, not a diagnosis or a dose recommendation.

Questions about health & fitness calculators

Why do some results show two sets of cut-offs?

South Asians carry more body fat at a given BMI than European populations, so health risks appear at lower numbers. The BMI calculator therefore shows the WHO international cut-offs alongside the Asian ones Indian guidelines follow, where overweight starts at 23 rather than 25.

What is the difference between BMR and daily calories?

BMR is what your body burns at complete rest. Your daily need, or TDEE, is BMR multiplied by an activity factor. The BMR calculator compares three BMR equations; the calorie calculator turns BMR into targets to hold, lose or gain weight.
